R Madhavan seems to have found a new passion for portraying real-life characters on the big screen. After receiving critical acclaim for his portrayal of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Madhavan is all set to take on another legendary role in his acting career. The actor has now signed on to play the lead in the biopic of the famous Indian inventor and engineer, Gopalswamy Doraiswamy Naidu (GD Naidu), directed by Krishna Kumar.
Although the cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalised, the makers have released a striking poster featuring a back pose of a man resembling GD Naidu.
For those unfamiliar with the scientist’s contributions, GD Naidu is renowned for manufacturing the first-ever electric motor in India. His knowledge and skills earned him the moniker of “Edison of India.” The production house has obtained formal permission from the charitable organisation operating in the name of the scientist to feature his life story on the big screen.
Fans of Madhavan and cinema enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for more details about the project. The poster has already sparked curiosity among the audience, and we can’t wait to see what the biopic has in store for us. Stay tuned to Jay-Ho.com for more updates.
