Bollywood singer Nikhita Gandhi is well known by music enthusiasts for her silky voice that has justly earned her the moniker of “the girl with the velvet voice ". Having charmed millions of music lovers for years, she is now causing listeners everywhere to groove to her latest foot-tapping number Tere Pyaar Mein for the upcoming Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor movie Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
With this song, she brings not just spirit but also oomph to this song with her voice, perfectly encapsulating the lead couple's intense love for one another. Her alluring voice adds a touch of sensuality to Arijit Singh's amorous and fun song. The song has been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, music from Pritam with compelling vocals from Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi. No wonder the song is currently trending on blockbusters- the singer’s velvety voice texture and attitude perfectly complements Shraddha Kapoor in the song.
Nikita Gandhi began her new year 2023 winning hearts with Munda Sona from ‘Shehzada,’ starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. Earlier, the Burj Khalifa singer had appeared on Jay-Ho! The Jay Kumar Show, where Nikhita spoke about her career journey from a dentist to a Bollywood singer. Though she was always inclined towards singing, she never planned to be a singer. In fact, in her own words, while she was in dental school in Chennai, she “actually enrolled for A.R. Rahman Sir's school, not to study music but to do something different from studies”. She had loved music right since her childhood and music was a way for her to decompress after a hectic studying routine.
However, fate had different plans and after listening to one of her auditions, she was called by A.R Rahman. Soon, she performed a few background songs in various movies before cutting to the “ day my first solo song with him was released”. Thus, she ended up becoming an accidental singer.”
