Pushpa 2, the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar, now has an official release date. Scheduled to hit screens on March 22, 2024, Pushpa 2: The Rule is currently in its final stages of filming.
The action-packed thriller, following the success of Pushpa: The Rise in 2021, is undoubtedly among the most highly anticipated pan-Indian projects emerging from the Telugu film industry. Following Allu Arjun's National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in Pushpa, expectations have been sky-high for the sequel.
The sequel's release date is now confirmed, and it's set for March 22, 2024. Director Sukumar and his team are preparing to conclude the shooting of Pushpa 2: The Rule in the coming weeks. Subsequently, an extensive post-production phase is in the pipeline, set to commence immediately after wrapping up the film's shooting.
About Pushpa: The Pushpa franchise unfolds against the backdrop of the Seshachalam Hills in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It traces the journey of Molleti Pushpa Raj, the central character, from a modest coolie to a formidable red sandalwood smuggler.
