After the premiere of the online series CAT, actor Dakssh Ajit Singh has drawn a lot of praise for his excellent performance that added to the series’ atmosphere. But long before this series, Dakssh has essayed roles in numerous TV shows such as Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Ishq Ka Rang Safed, Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap, Kesari Nandan, Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak, Laado-2. And not just TV, the handsome hunk has worked in Punjabi Cinema as well. However, Dakssh is not just a pretty face, he is a versatile artist who works in a wide range of disciplines, including acting, writing, singing, and painting.

The Jay Kumar Show had the privilege to sit and chat with him on his numerous projects, his journey, and of course, his fitness as well. And of course, in an effort to provide motivation to our fans and audience, Dakssh presented his fitness philosophy and offered tips for youngsters aspiring for fitness.
Right off the bat, Dakssh mentioned a few things that youngsters should stay away from- pre-workouts, the bodybuilding supplements used by athletes and weightlifters to enhance athletic performance. Dakssh categorically states,” I think pre-workout should be completely banned. They are extremely harmful, they are highly addictive, and you feel helpless when you can't have that.” He went on to mention that dependence on anything unhealthy and in order to acquire strength, endurance, and fitness, one must seek out healthier stuff. So naturally we asked him, what’s the best pre-workout? Pat came his reply, “The ideal pre-workout is simply a shot of coffee. It's the best workout, and I still use it. Nothing beats this for a pre-workout.” Other pre-workouts in his opinion simply provide an unhealthy quick boost which is like a sudden shock.
Dakssh went on to speak on how to inspire oneself for fitness without ingesting pre-workout "In my opinion due to pre-workouts people get caught with cardiac arrest and some side effects in certain gyms. I'm not saying that all of these are directly related to pre-workout, but it may be”. According to Dakssh, listening to inspiring music, coffee, viewing some upbeat motivational videos should be sufficient to get into that frame. He also mentioned knowing the stories of amazing individuals like Arnold Schwarzznegar to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The actor also had specific tips for people living in colder climates, namely taking supplements to maintain Vitamin D-3 levels. He also emphasized that this is merely an addon to one’s protein intake. He mentioned that if one can't obtain enough protein from their meals, one scoop of the supplement is enough to heal the body after a workout while avoiding negative effects.
