Dr. Paromita Das Asija was an exceptional human being whose kindness, compassion, and dedication touched the lives of countless people. Her passing has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her.
Jay-Ho, The Jay Kumar Show, was among the many who paid their respects at her funeral and was deeply moved by the outpouring of love and affection evident throughout the ceremonies. Despite facing immense challenges, including a long battle with cancer, Dr. Asija remained steadfast in her commitment to helping others. Her strength, courage, and grace in the face of adversity were an inspiration to all who knew her.
At the funeral, Sandeep’s mother and Dr. Paromita’s mother-in-law gave a beautiful speech in which she spoke of Dr. Asija as a “Devi” who had come to bless the Asija family. Her words echoed the sentiments of all who had been touched by Dr. Asija’s kindness and generosity. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.
Dr. Asija was an ardent supporter of Jay-Ho! The Jay Kumar Show, and she never missed an opportunity to express her admiration for the show and its host, Jay Kumar. She often remarked that she would be in the front row at any Jay-Ho event, and her presence was always a source of encouragement for Jay and his team.
Sadly, with Dr. Asija’s passing, Jay-Ho will feel her absence acutely at the upcoming event ‘White Lilly and Night Rider‘, which is hosted by the Jay-Ho show. Her unwavering support and infectious enthusiasm will be deeply missed, but her memory will undoubtedly inspire Jay and his team to continue to strive for excellence and make her proud.
